Our client is seeking Part-Time Lifeguards to work in their holiday park in Paignton, Devon. An excellent hourly rate of £6.50 is on offer to the successful applicants.

Our client is a Family Company and is one of the largest owners of holiday and residential parks in the UK.

They require Part-Time Lifeguards to join our team who are responsible the day-to-day running of our Leisure facilities at our Devon Hills Holiday Park in Paignton, Devon.

Part-Time Lifeguards main responsibilities:

- Keep a close watch over the pool and the pool users exercising the appropriate level of control

- Communicate effectively with pool users and colleagues

- Anticipate problems and prevent accidents

- Intervene to prevent behaviour which is unsafe

- Identify emergencies quickly and take appropriate action

- Effect a rescue from the water or poolside

- Give immediate first aid to any casualty

- Ensure pool rules are adhered to

- Maintain good housekeeping in the Reception area

- Taking payments for gym/swimming

- Issuing of membership cards

- Daily pool alarm tests

- Pool Tests

- Recording of Pool Tests in diary

- Cleaning of changing rooms, showers and steam room

- Checking of gym equipment including cleanliness and fit for purpose

- Sweeping of leisure reception area and pool area

- Signing off cleaning check lists

- Checking of first aid stock

- Checking of all lifesaving equipment

A current National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) is essential. The successful candidates must be strong and able swimmers as well as computer literate.

The successful Part-Time Lifeguards will work from our client's holiday park in Paignton, Devon. The successful candidates will be offered zero hour contracts but with a good opportunity to work plenty of hours particularly in the school holidays and summer months.

In return for your commitment, the successful Part-Time Lifeguards will receive an excellent hourly rate of £6.50 and will have unlimited access to our leisure facilities.
